Abstract

Drainage aims to drain water from an area that comes from rainwater and waste water, so that there is no excessive puddle. The purpose of this research is to plan a drainage system in the Manggarai- Jatinegara line to drain water during the rainy season so that there is no inundation due to too much rainfall. In this study, to analyze the planned rainfall calculated using the Rational method. To calculate the flood discharge of the Ciliwung river on the Manggarai- Jatinegara route, rainfall data were used at Pondok Jati, Kramat and Kampong Melayu stations with a recording period of 2010 to 2019. River flow discharge for the 20 year period. The result of the calculated rain plan with a 20 year return period is = 81.6681 mm, with a discharge value of 0.79846 m2 / second. The count was continued using software to determine the river storage capacity using steady flow. In the calculation with Hec Ras, several sections in the Manggarai line, namely KM 1+ 150 to KM 2 + 050, cannot accommodate the flow rate that occurs, therefore it is necessary to normalize the drainage, or redesign the channel volume. Design dimensions with a width of 3 meters and a height of 3.6 meters.
